Back in my undergrad, I learned why it’s unadvisable to program with a fever. Today I learned it’s a bad idea to work on a website when you have a migraine. Totally caused a critical error and wiped out the entire thing once already before 8am.
Bright side ~ I now know where my file manager is on the provider’s website!
It’s been a long day – and I slept most of it. I called off work with a migraine that’s been going on for the past three days. Interestingly, it affected my stomach and I haven’t eaten much yesterday or today. Usually nothing affects my appetite.
It gave me a chance to finish up a second booklet and publish it on Gumroad for sales.
I’ve come to the decision I won’t be making people custom pet pix for $$$, or making Python apps to sell right now. (Everyone uses their phone these days, and downloading apps has kinda fallen out of favor.) I plan to focus on writing more booklets, and streamlining that process. I can make Python tools to help for steps in the process – I made a quick one today to turn my pdfs into word docs. I can upload those to Google Docs, do whatever editing I need, and then save down as a pdf. Easy peasy! I’ve decided to stick with my Photoshop and Photopea rather than Canva. That’ll save me $15 a month. Business expenses will just be $20/month for ChatGPT Plus, $5 for Medium subscription, and $12.71 for Kindle Unlimited. (I’m reading so much business stuff on there, I’m writing it off.)
I still have to finish up my business FB page, hook that and Twitter and Instigram to my Buffer account and learn to set up marketing posts, finish up my melroman.online site, and set up the Notion Project Management Hub I signed up for. Soooooo much to do! But there’s really no hurry. No deadline. I’ve got two products up, and everything else is just making it more efficient.
I just hope this headache goes away completely and for good soon!
